An environmental test chamber specifically designed for optimum irradiation of your products.

In industries such as defense, space, electronics, photovoltaics and automotive, many products are subjected to solar simulation, including polymer plastics, automotive metal components, aerospace and defense equipment, and various electronic systems. The reliability of raw materials, coatings and assembly must be tested in environmental test chambers capable of reproducing extreme conditions.

To achieve these conditions, Climats Precision Solar Simulation environmental test chambers combine the performance of our standard functions with a solar radiation entity developed by our partner Atlas Sunlight Technology.

Performance

Precision solar environmental test chamber with radiation :

  • Temperature performance: -20°C / +100°C
  • Humidity test performance: 10% RH / 80% RH over +15°C / +80°C range

Precision solar environmental test chamber without radiation:

  • Temperature test performance: -40°C / +120°C
  • Humidity test performance: 10% RH / 90% RH over +10°C /+ 90°C range

SOLAR RADIATION TECHNOLOGY

Solar module

Full solar spectrum indoor & outdoor, HMI lamp with MGH technology, powered by ATLAS .

The metal-halide lamps (HMI-type lamps) used in our precision solar simulation enclosure generate an electric arc with very bright, localized radiation intensity.
Our technology is designed to simulate any exposure condition on earth with radiation levels of up to 1200W/m², in the solar spectrum.

Convenient access

Climats has designed the most ergonomic solution for the most intense experience with high-tech industrial equipment.
A ball-bearing system, easily manipulated by a single operator, provides simple access to the solar module for installation of additional glass, internal and external filters and general maintenance.

External filters

In order to adapt the spectrum, the solar module can accommodate different filters to meet indoor and outdoor conditions, as well as all the test conditions required by your industrial sector.
Neutral mesh filters are supplied with the device. A set of 4 different metal mesh filters is dedicated to each lamp. This system lets you optimize total radiation without changing the spectral distribution.

Spirale

Spirale lets you control all your equipment. Standard features include :

  • extra-large (15″) touchscreen,
  • 3 levels of use :
    • Production: simple, clear and functional
    • Standard: a versatile level
    • Laboratory: focused on advanced testing
  • a tracking alarm in Shock or VRT mode to ensure reproducibility of your tests.
  • programmable pre-treatment/post-treatment on Spirale Vision to temperature condition or even dry your samples at the beginning and/or end of the cycle.
  • an automatic defrost function: Spirale Vision optimizes the cycle so that defrosting can be carried out correctly without disturbing the temperature of the samples under test.

Standard mode for easy program creation

Time-optimized or “guaranteed step time” mode (Wait for mode) to guarantee a programmed step time regardless of the number of samples on board.

Spirale’s Energy Saving mode means that only the test cabinet containing the samples is in operation. You save at least 40% on your electricity consumption during your test cycles.
